At the intersection of sight and sound, Lunchmeat Festival and CDM feature conversations with the artists producing the festival’s transmedia creations. Musicians have long been in the spotlight, with visual artists relegated to marginal attention. But with visual expression increasingly as performative as music, and visual design intertwined with musical conception, now is the time to present these creators on equal footing.

This year’s Symposium is hosted by online music and motion hub CDM (cdm.link), who will share it with the world’s intermedia community in live streams. Framing these conversations is an audiovisual artist and CDM editor Peter Kirn.

The program will be streamed online. Free entry.
