Lunchmeat Festival will provide one of the first stages for a brand new collaboration of two masterminds of experimental techno. Kangding Ray & Sigha will present a two hour live set under their new moniker, Neon Chambers. There are very few musicians who manage to explore the convergence between techno and experimental as tirelessly Kangding Ray, whose productions appear mostly on Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts. Sigha might surely be one of those few. So far, we can only imagine how the complex, boundaries testing sound of Kangding Ray will mix with Sigha’s forward thinking techno, his interest in immersive sound design and his masterful experiments with modular synthesis.
Kangding Ray and Sigha will be joined by Gabriela Prochazka, a multimedia artist with a focus in light art. She often collaborates with musicians and sound designers to create a complex immersion in her artwork. She’s interested in the intersection of light design, audiovisual performances, club culture, and fine arts.
