Tadej Droljc is an acclaimed interdisciplinary artist and creative coder who works in the field of electronic music, computer-generated audiovisual composition and other forms of inter-media art. He has won numerous awards for his groundbreaking mixing of sound and image.
His performance and exhibitions have been shown at festivals and galleries around the globe. In this year´s Lunchmeat, he is presenting Beambreaker / Žarkolom – an audiovisual composition and performance that deals with breaking light beams and sound beams into volumetric audiovisual objects.
Žarkolom makes the spectators think: Are we listening to the sound light, or do we see an embodiment of sound or something in-between? The piece offers us a mirror in which fragments of one’s own invisible self can be brought to light.
