David Kennedy aka Pearson Sound has become synonymous with cutting edge UK dancefloor music. Since 2006 he has stood at the forefront of club music innovations, seamlessly combining house, dubstep, UK funky, UK garage and oldschool jungle \u2014 energy meets ecstasy, futurism goes hand in hand with respect for the past. Under past aliases Ramadanman and Maurice Donovan he released several high-profile bangers, remixed Radiohead, Depeche Mode and the XX, and has been voted as one of Resident Advisor’s top 100 DJ\u2019s in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Ben Thomson (Ben UFO) and Kevin McAuley (Pangaea) he co-founded Hessle Audio in 2007, widely respected as one of the most important and forward-thinking dance music labels of the 21^{st<\/sup> century, which is home to Pearson Sound\u2019s 2015 debut album. Apart from releasing one club hit after another and creating vital mixes such as \u2018Fabriclive 56\u2019, he also found the time to run the vinyl-only club night Acetate in Leeds, and help ensure that Hessle Audio\u2019s weekly radio show on London\u2019s Rinse FM maintains its role as an essential part of the station\u2019s broadcasting schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n}
