Ritual energy meets noise and Italian folk music: producer TSVI and A/V artist Seven Orbits collaborate as Paraadiso, channeling the ephemeral spirit of collective physical experience akin to ancient gatherings and ceremonies. Their second album ‘Unison’, released last summer via Shanghai’s SVBKVLT label, is a reaction to the surging isolation and disconnection over the pandemic years. Paraadiso combats these emotions with their project of “joint consciousness”, equipped with sweeping choral arrangements and staggering rhythms.
