Pan Daijing tells stories about longing and loneliness, intense and raw. She is a self-taught, self-proclaimed outsider working in the fields of performance art, sound, dance and installation. Her uneasy music compositions are rooted in noise music and improvisation and her cutting-edge approach combines naked emotions, striking aesthetic and poetic sensibilities. Born in China, but based in Berlin, she uses sonic art as a means of direct communication, exposing both power and vulnerability with her voice as the central element of her art.
