A future in which machines run amok, and humanity mutates into new and unprecedented forms: this is what we hear in the music of CORIN, and it is both a celebration and a warning. Corin Ileto has a background in classical piano, but she creates sonic spaces in which traditional western music forms can be hybridized with the hyperdigital sounds of now. Influences of IDM, grime, trance and ambient mix with non-western music and science fiction aesthetics in a meandering musical bloodline. She debuted in 2015, and in 2021 she released Enantiodromia on Lee Gamble´s acclaimed UIQ label.
