With songs about the fragility of the human condition and religious conceptions of death, Petra Hermanova makes music of deep emotions and pure originality. After playing with her dream-pop band Fiordmoss, and collaborating with Jon Eirik Boska (Hydropsyche), Hermanova discovered the autoharp. The results of her transformation are to be heard on her solo album In Death´s Eyes, set for release in 2023 on the Berlin label Unguarded. There, she draws inspirations from both medieval drone and doom metal. At the world premiere of her new material, she is joined by Denny Wilke, an organist acclaimed for solo recitals, as well as performances with renowned orchestras and ensembles.
