Aelcrush is a new audiovisual live show collaboration between Sin Maldita, of the Unguarded record label and event series, and acclaimed visual artist Lei. It deals with themes of escapism and emotional exhaustion, balancing rupturing audiovisual club chaos and radiant beauty in devastating and cold, yet also emotionally evocative vision. Taking inspiration from both fantasy worlds and dire realities, Sin Maldita and Lei aim not to present an apocalyptic vision, but one populated by seismic emotion and tumult, introspection, escapism, and reflection — both sonically and visually.
