A founding member of popular Czech electropop band Viah, Vi Huyen Tran, AKA dējāvi, has relatively recently ventured into the world of DJing. But, as is the case also with Viah, dējāvi’s selections are unconventional, showcasing her unique musical sensibility: veering across electronica and melodic-leaning techno and house, with the occasional visit to neighbouring garage and bass music, the resident DJ at Prague’s Akropolis Underground is a fascinating new talent on the Czech scene.  For Shoes Off at Ankali she is preparing a special listening set.
