Never shying from challenging the comfort of their audience, Hakeem Lapointe\u2019s live performances as Amselysen are known for their chaotic interventions, a unique sense of subversion, and hyper-dynamic blends of electronic compositions \u2014 little wonder they\u2019ve shared stage with acts such as Caterina Barbieri, Lorenzo Senni, Dreamcrusher or Jesse Osborne-Lathier. Their debut album, \u2018Hypnagogic Surge\u2019, and its follow-up \u2018Organe Solare\u2019, were released through Prague\u2019s Genot Centre label in 2020 and 2022 respectively, and remain bright examples of exploratory electronic music to the present day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
