nan Cifra presents Tangled in Narratives AV live (WP)<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Composer and musician nan Cifra will premiere her audiovisual performance, Tangled in Narratives<\/em>, unveiling material from her debut album. The piece explores narrative as a tool for constructing reality and the ways it defines boundaries of meaning, shapes our identity and perception of the world.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaborating with performer and choreographer Jitka Sara P\u00e1nikova and set designer and visual artist Jan Mat\u00fdsek, a performative world is set to emerge, with sound, physicality, and visuals becoming abstracted elements of narrative perception. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another participant is the custom-built instrument Harpo: a reinterpretation of a harp transformed into a hybrid object with new sonic and aesthetic qualities. Its visual form is shaped by Slovak visual artist Magdalena Rybansk\u00e1, while the backend is a collaboration between Nat\u00e1lie Plev\u00e1kov\u00e1 and Anton\u00edn Gazda. Moving beyond its function as a musical instrument, Harpo becomes a performative entity in its own right, a carrier of memory, physicality, and fiction.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund.<\/a> The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
