Genre-flexible and well-versed DJ, Bapari takes a dramatically different turn in their live set – with a tight focus on guitar, songwriting and voice, it becomes a much more intimate, vulnerable experience. Exemplary club production is heard in the background, sometimes reappearing, mostly leaving space for the songs to shine. Trip-hop with carefully crafted bass and beats, at times leaning into shoegaze, at times getting more clear-sighted.
Bapari’s name can be found in the production credits of fka twigs, MHYSA, and some Shygirl edits, among other music. They release their club-forward music on Halcyon Veil and host their own show, Puffy, on NTS radio.
