HOUSE RULES & SAFETY & NIGHTTIME CURFEW

Lunchmeat has been created on the idea of exchanging ideas and exploring ways to experience electronic music and new media art and pushing the boundaries of what it can look like. We believe in the power of collaboration and the idea of diversity enriching the culture scene. We understand that for this to happen, we have to aim to create a safer space for people of all backgrounds to feel safe at the festival. That’s why we expect all our visitors, artists, crew members, and venue staff to behave according to those views. Lunchmeat does not tolerate hateful or discriminative actions of any kind, including discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, economic background, education, or identity.

Respect the boundaries. Seek direct, vocal consent prior to any physical or intimate contact with another person. Be mindful of yourself and your surroundings. Any unwanted physical, verbal or sexual contact (including stalking or following) won’t be tolerated. If someone asks you to stop establishing contact with them, respect that.

Lunchmeat Festival takes place in the heart of Letná — home to many of our friends, family and crew members, and a great home to us as a festival. We’d love to stay respectful of our neighbors and keep that relationship positive, so we’re kindly asking you to keep it quiet while outside, and save all your excitement for the sick drops and jaw-dropping moments inside, on the dancefloor.

Our colleagues will be posted outside, and if things get too loud, we will ask you to keep it down. This matters more than it might seem — staying on good terms with our neighbors is a big part of what lets us keep hosting the festival here. We reserve the right to deny (further) access to visitors who break those rules. Thank you for helping us protect that.

Nightlife has its values – let’s create, respect and protect it together.

There’s no place for homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist or any other bigoted or toxic behaviour at Lunchmeat Festival. If you experience it, please let us know.

LUNCHMEAT TEAM CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY A GREEN TAPE ON THE SLEEVE

Party Harm Reduction team can be found upstairs in Korzo, where you can learn more about the safer and healthier clubbing, chill, talk, fetch some fruits, vitamins, condoms, etc. They will be moving around the space throughout the night, so don’t hesitate to wave them down if you need anything. You can identify them by glowing red bands and branded shirts. You can also reach them by phone at +420 723 978 529, please only use this number when necessary.

What you can do if others need help:

  • Find out what’s happening and take the necessary action

GETTING AROUND PRAGUE

Prague has one of the most comfortable and reliable public transport systems in Europe. Learn more about fares on the official website of Prague Public Transport. For taxi, head to Bolt or Uber.

You can reach the city center from the airport via Trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín, where you can catch Metro Line A (green) into the center (Muzeum) in under 40 minutes. If you’re heading straight for the festival, get off the 59 at Divoká Šárka instead and take Tram 26 to Strossmayerovo náměstí in under 60 minutes.

Prague has two train stations connecting it to the rest of Europe: Main Station (Hlavní nádraží) and Prague-Holešovice. Those arriving from Berlin and western Europe will typically pass through Holešovice first, which is just 5 minutes from Trade Fair Palace by tram. Hlavní nádraží is about 15 minutes away by tram.

Lunchmeat Festival takes place in Letná, a district with plenty to offer foodies. We highly recommend Teplá Kačka, Mr. HotDoG, Cobra (meat, veggie and vegan options) and Sandwich Rodeo (meat and veggie options). For a great cup of coffee, go to our lovely neighbours, KOLEKTOR, next door, or  Acid Coffee a couple of blocks away. And if you’ve partied too hard the day before, get some proper vegan Czech junk food – chlebíčky or holandák – at the plant-based deli Bezmasná.
