PLF is an extraordinary trio made of sound artist/producer Peter Kutin, drummer Lukas König and vocalist Elvin Brandhi that come together to deliver a relentless interplay of sound and light, built entirely from scratch, with no safety nets or backing tracks – making each concert an unrepeatable event. Their ethos is rooted in free jazz and DIY culture, their music exists as a stroboscopic improvisation – with Kutin performing on custom-built light-feedback machines that drive an array of synths, König weaving intense rhythmic patterns through his percussive-electronic craft, and Brandhi’s feral, visceral vocalizations cutting through it all. Harsh music as raw as its pure, direct in its gestures and uncompromising in its energy. Their third album SKREAMERZ, released in Autumn 2025, shows their singular fusion of post-punk, anti-pop and post-digital aesthetics, unmediated by logic, language or conventional harmonic structures. At Lunchmeat, their show will be expanded with visuals programmed by Patrik Lechner in Touch Designer.
