Composer and musician nan Cifra will premiere her audiovisual performance Tangled in Narratives, unveiling material from her debut album. The piece explores narrative as a tool for constructing reality, and the ways it defines boundaries of meaning, shapes our identity and perception of the world.  

Collaborating with performer and choreographer Jitka Sara Pánikova and set designer and visual artist Jan Matýsek, a performative world emerges, with sound, physicality, and visuals becoming abstracted elements of narrative perception. 

Another participant is the custom-built instrument Harpo – a reinterpretation of the harp transformed into a hybrid object with new sonic and aesthetic qualities. Moving beyond its function as a musical instrument, Harpo becomes a performative entity in its own right, a carrier of memory, physicality, and fiction.
